American Sign Language Convention

August 11 - 13, 2017

Aurora, Colorado —Jehovah’s Witnesses will soon hold their annual convention presented entirely in American Sign Language (ASL) at the Aurora Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 7400 S. Oak Hill Way, Aurora, Colorado. They extend an open invitation for all Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, and all other interested persons to attend. The theme of this year’s program is “Don’t Give Up!” By means of ASL presentations, interviews, and videos the convention will show how families and individuals in any situation can enjoy a happy life now and gain a real hope for the future.

A highlight of the program will be a 3-part drama video presentation entitled “Remember the Wife of Lot.” Part 1 will be Friday afternoon at 3:05 p.m. Part 2 will be shown Saturday afternoon at 2:35 p.m. Part 3 will conclude on Sunday afternoon at 1:50 p.m. Another highlight of this convention will be a special ASL presentation on the encouraging topic “Never Give Up Hope!” on Sunday morning at 11:20 a.m.

This three-day event to be held in Aurora, Colorado will begin each day at 9:20 a.m. An estimated 600 people will attend this Bible-based program. Admission is free.
