Posted

Throughout her time at Chaparral, Andre, 18, has participated in cheer, track, DECA and Sources of Strength and wrote for the school newspaper, the Chaparral Crier. She will be attending the University of Colorado.

What profession or career do you want to pursue and why?

I plan to pursue a career as a pediatric oncologist nurse. I have always loved helping people and I love children. I was inspired by a childhood friend I knew who had cancer. I will attend the University of Colorado for a four-year psychology degree, before attending nursing school.

What do you hope to accomplish in life?

I hope to travel to Africa and other countries where I can use my medical skills to help people and contribute in missions.

If you could do anything, it would be to ...

Take a cruise to every country you’re allowed to go to.
