Sage Canyon Elementary welcomes students after summer break

Posted

Sage Canyon Elementary School welcomed students back on Aug. 7, the first day of classes for the 2019-2020 school year in the Douglas County School District. Throughout the morning, parents strolled in the front door of the Castle Rock elementary, nestled among pockets of suburban neighborhoods. They were greeted by principal Mandy Hill and her staff, who sported shirts with the words “Be Kind,” the school's theme for the year.

“We can be the change and the good that needs to be in everyone's life,” Hill said.
