The City of Castle Pines is offering financial assistance to some businesses that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 restrictions recently put in place.
Up to $5,000 will be awarded to eligible businesses, according to a news release issued by the city on Nov. 23. To be eligible, a business must be in the retail or personal services industries; must have 25 or fewer full-time employees; and must have a “physical and publicly accessible location (store-front)” within the city limits.
“This type of direct financial support is unprecedented in our community,” Mayor Tera Radloff said in the news release. “Even though our retailers and service providers have proven to be amazingly resilient, we recognize the unique challenges and hardship brought about by this next phase of restrictions. We hope this grant program can give our local businesses the extra support needed to weather this pandemic.”
The application period closes at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 6. Grant recipients will be notified of awards on Dec. 11.
