Letter to the editor: Keep Lone Tree services with 2E

Please join me Nov. 2 in voting yes on 2E, the proposed one cent on each dollar sales tax increase in Lone Tree.

If you appreciate the great benefits we enjoy in Lone Tree (great policing with safe streets and shopping experience, well maintained streets and snow removal, weekly trash service, no city tax on vehicle purchases and a host of other things) you will keep those.

Without this increase, expect to lose much of what makes Lone Tree what we have come to love.

Trash service is expected to cost you $40/month versus the $7 estimated for the increase in sales tax.

You will have an opportunity to vote to renew or end this tax in 10 years.
