About me

I've lived in Castle Rock for a long time. I don't keep track, just take it day by day. I went to high school at Douglas County High School — there was only one high school at the time. 

Watching Castle Rock grow

It's all changed. Walmart used to be over where Safeway was. The jail used to be where Walgreens is. I used to know the mayor here.

Keeping busy

I work two jobs. Can't make a living off of one job anymore. Full-time, I work for a company and refinish furniture. I do everything. Sand, stain and re-upholster. I just picked it up. Nothing hard about it.

Summer job

I also run the produce stand near Briccy's Coffee for Taylor Produce, based in Palisade. This is my summer job, my side job. I like this too because you meet a lot of people. I've been working for the stand about five to six years. We're here seven days a week, all the way to the end of October.
