Restoring the Shattered to help counselors, mental health professionals learn from leading experts

Pastors, ministry leaders, counselors, mental health professionals, counseling students and others who care for those wounded by sex trafficking or sexual abuse are invited to participate in the Restoring the Shattered symposium.

The two-day conference hosted by Denver Seminary, Deeper Walk International and Lydia Discipleship Ministries will provide best models, materials and information from leading experts in the areas of trauma and abuse. Up to 10 hours of CEUs are available.

“This modern-day slavery creates broken hearts and the need to minister to those being rescued increases daily,” Timothy Jensen, executive director, Deeper Walk International, said in a news release. “Restoring the Shattered is a symposium for those who wish to understand the unique challenges of ministering to the deeply wounded and sexually trafficked.”

The symposium will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 27-28 at Denver Seminary, 6399 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton. Special pricing is available for students.
